9月2日／日本発のシカゴ行きの飛行機の中で偶然！！フルート直子の高校、大学の時の友人が隣の席で一緒でした！！船越こずえさん。彼女はシカゴ饗のヴァイオリニストとして日本人ただ一人の人です。となりは御主人。他は福岡で行なわれた車椅子によるバスケットボール選手のスター達！！花てまりの隣の彼はジェネラル・マネージャーです。彼も隣の席で、とっても気さくなアメリカ人。ご縁って不思議なものですね〜〜。楽しいスタートでした。
在カナダ日本大使館宛に今回の花てまりの公演が大変たのしかったとお手紙をおくってくださりました。なんと嬉しいことでしょうか…

At the end of last summer, you came to Montreal to give a concert at the Botanical Garden and I was among the crowd who had the pleasure of hearing your interpretations and very own compositions. Truly, your impressive skill with the koto and the flute, not to mention your melodious voices, manage to create a kind of music that can only please the ear. I had left the auditorium hoping to buy your CD which, unfortunately, wasn't available. Is it possible to purchase your CD outside of Japan? Moreover, I also have a friend in Germany who likes Japanese traditionnal music and who would probably like to get it. In other words, is your CD available either in Germany or Canada? Have you ever released a second album?
You can rest assured that if ever you should visit Montreal again, I, for one, will be among the first to buy tickets to witness your talent once more.
